Pelican Shores Site Info
Welcome to Pelican Shores R.V. Park
- We are open from May 1st to October 1st weather permitting. All registered owners of each unit must be 21 years of age or older. Units may not be sublet. Insurance is each individual’s responsibility for the unit, watercraft, and personal belongings. We are not responsible for accidents, thefts, break-ins, loss, or personal injury.
- Hydro meters are read at the end of the season and invoices are issued shortly thereafter.
- The water is potable and is for personal use only. No lawn watering or RV / vehicle washing with a pressure washer is permitted.
- A coin-operated laundromat is located in the big building on the lakeshore. Movies/books are on loan there.
- Wi-Fi is available.
- Household garbage and recycling bins are located at the north end of the park. If it doesn’t fit in a garbage bag, then it doesn’t go in the bin. We can give you directions to the nuisance grounds for larger items. The recycling, including broken-down cardboard, must be in a recycling bag.
- ABSOLUTELY NO FISH GUTS IN THE BINS
- The speed limit in the park is 10 km/h
- No off-road vehicles whatsoever are allowed on the two roads inside the park.
- Quiet time is between 12:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.
- The dock is for day use only. Children on the dock must be supervised by a responsible adult.
- There is room for one car per lot unless otherwise arranged by the manager/owner. Other/guest vehicles may be angle parked at the far end of the park across from the garbage/recycle bin. Please don’t plug up the roads.
- Ask us about boat and off-road vehicle storage.
- Pets must be always under your control and their deposits cleaned up. They are not allowed in the green space around the shelter or the shelter itself. Please control incessant barking.
- If you need trees trimmed, repairs to the sewer/water/electrical, firewood, or other information please ask.
No nails in the trees and anything tied around them must be loose enough to prevent girdling that kills the oaks. - Please consult us before erecting any outbuildings/fences.
- You are responsible for any damage to the grass caused by decks/tents/screen rooms/ pets etc. Consult us if you have questions.
- We maintain the grounds, but you are responsible for your own lot. A lawn mower and string trimmer are available in the red shed across from the garbage bin.
- For your information, any seasonal RV without current license plates is subject to tax by the assessment branch. As are garden sheds.
- Any sale of units on site will be decided on a case-by-case basis.
- The shelter and community fire pit can be used for family events provided there is nothing else booked on the same date. The area must be left in good order.
- A deposit of $500, made by Sept. 1 in the current year, will hold your site for the following year. The balance is due May 1 of the following year. The deposit is non-refundable.
